This portal is an endeavour of the West Bengal Civil Society Support Programme (WBCSSP).
The WBCSSP aims to support civil society organizations in their work to influence governance processes to bring about poverty reduction in the state. The portal provides a one window platform for civil society to

• engage with various players
• retrieve information on NGOs, academia, media, community-based organizations,government policy,help-lines and others
• access reports and publications
• get linked with similar efforts in India and the world.

The portal is initially being launched in English and will be followed by a Bangla version.
We invite you to become a member and download your requirement. Membership of the site is free and open to all. You can also become a member of its various sections and upload relevant information. Membership of these segments is free but moderator driven.

A special segment is the Discussion Forum. This is a web based debate and dialogue platform where members are encouraged to participate with their queries and thoughts. This is especially for those of you wanting to engage with others with serious discussions on issues selected by you.
